MTHRSHP Sublime: Golden Opulence

The Pat McGrath MTHRSHP Sublime: Golden Opulence palette is the epitome of gilded gorgeousness! When it went live on the Selfridges website  I snagged it from the minute I found out I could get it.The packaging is so gorgeous. It is glittery with a bit of soft grit to the texture, but not the type of packaging where the glitter is glued on and comes off. The vibrant red and gold is apropos for celebrating the Lunar New Year. 

The shadows are soft and pigmented and the 2 mattes along with the 4 shimmers offer a variety of options for looks for day to night. The palette is part of a collection that includes a trio of mini lip glosses in either Bronze Opulence or Red Opulence, but I didn’t pick either of those up. 

The shimmer shades are very soft and emollient and the matte shades are very smooth. I had a very easy time creating a look with these shadows. I applied them over a concealer base (Tarte Shape Tape) and found that these perform on par with the brand’s other shadows.
